What Customers Say About The Bourne Ultimatum (Widescreen Edition):

In making the BOURNE series, the producer or producers have met the challenges posed by the successful completion of previous episodes by fashioning even more compelling stories. That lethal Secrecy -- an entity made up of thousands of arbitrary, invisible parts -- stalks human beings through the undergrowth of actual or analog reality much as the non-earthly Predator (from the film of the same name) hunted men, while cloaked in electronic camouflage that confused it's victims. This anti-fantastic film is so good on so many levels it challenges one on all of them and in different ways too. We come to dread and to loathe Langley much as we came to despise the dungeons of Richelieu. In an attempt to unify the Bourne enterprise despite changes in directors, and inevitable seismic changes in production personnel and location, the sense of chronological time is manipulated and we are deliberately, artfully confused. What an amazing piece of work, overall. Creative Personnel change does not distract any more than scenhe location does. That in itself is part of the entertainment or diversion within the film; that is, we the audience are challenged to attempt to ascertain our actual place in time and space within this super-fast, super-complex movie. The strategy of using directorial style to hype suspense works. By the time Bourne's fractured mind re-knits, we not only understand that unprincipled villains of his nation's secret police stripped his humanity from him by means of torture -- water torture and electro-shock torture -- we experience it and glimpse it too, as he re-experiences it through memory's renaissance. What gives ULTIMATUM it's particular appeal is the fact that the "chase" takes place in a kind of parallel reality that could only exist within the matrix of international electronic surveillance and multi-national secrecy.

But only the DVD side worked and the HD side did not work Great Movie.

At their meeting, Bourne senses that they are being watched and seeks to evade assassination and capture. Two characters who have been in the past episodes, Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles) and Pamela Landy (Joan Allen) are again featured, but this time they seem to be assisting Jason. This may be the best of The Bourne trilogy, and that is saying a lot indeed. In this installment, Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) continues to pursue his true identity. This is a must see for anyone who has seen the two previous Bourne movies and probably for anyone else who loves a great action show. Meanwhile the CIA director and the bulk of the agency's resources are trying to eliminate him. There is action galore in this film - a great chase scene, intense fighting, etc. He becomes very interested in a series of newspaper articles that reveal information about himself, Operation Treadstone, etc. He sets up a meeting with the reporter who is writing the expose.

Probably, one of the last people who do things right the first time. Vendor is responsive and quick to ship. Loved the movie, it's all that I expected. DVD quality was excellent.

Amazon requested I return it. As reported to Amazon, the DVD was delivered to my address in Spain but does not play in this region.
